Sam Hoare (b. 27 June 1981) is a British actor and director best known for his role as Dickie Burnell, alongside Matt Smith in BBC1's Olympic drama Bert & Dickie (2012) Hoare wrote and directed his debut feature film, Having You, starring Anna Friel and Romola Garai, which was premiered in May 2013 on Sky Movies.
